Who are We?

Enjoyable Languages, LLC was founded in January 2021 by Kristin Roberts, a passionate educator with a deep love for language learning.

After years of teaching, she noticed a gap in traditional language programs—too rigid, too impersonal, and often disconnected from real-life communication. She started Enjoyable Languages to create something better: flexible, engaging classes tailored to the unique goals and personalities of each student.

Whether you're learning in a private lesson or a small group, the goal is the same—authentic connection, practical skills, and a learning experience that’s actually enjoyable.

No one-size-fits-all approach here. Just thoughtful, personalized language education—for real people, with real goals.

Kristin Roberts

Owner of Enjoyable Languages & Language Teacher (Spanish & German)

Kristin earned a Ph.D. in Hispanic Linguistics from the University of Georgia in 2019.
Since 2006, she has had teaching experience in K-12 and higher education, including posts in the US, Germany, Spain, and Peru.
Known for her enthusiasm and energetic style, Kristin was named Teacher of the Year by The Gwinnett School for Mathematics, Science, and Technology in 2015.
Most recently she’s taught Spanish and German at Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of Richmond.
She is a cofounder of Enjoyable Languages, which was launched in January 2021.
Kristin is always taking classes herself since she is a lifelong language learner. So far, she has taken Japanese and ASL with Enjoyable Languages' stellar teachers.
